Thai Protective Tattoos are called “Sak Yant”.  All of these tattoos consist of protective chants (scripture) in a language called “Calm” stemming from Cambodia and Thailand.  These designs and chants were developed in ancient times as a means of military protection for soldiers.  These tattoos were originally created as a means of physical protection, however, Masters developed and added on to the designs and meaning.
