If the topic is body art, Craig Tracy is its undisputed master. Just take a picture at some of the pictures below and see for yourself. His work does not only involve meticulous attention to detail, but what really takes your breath away is his ingenious perception and creativity. How he can visualize and create these fantastic pieces of art, and that too on a human body, is really a work of sheer genius. No wonder, he has gained popularity around the world, is well acclaimed by critics and a darling of publishers.

Tracy, born in the notorious city of New Orleans, was born to hippie parents. The forces that influenced the art scene of New Orleans also clearly influenced him as can be seen by the numerous depiction of jazz in his art, which originated in New Orleans in the early part of the century.

The tradition of Zombie Walk lives on in Sacramento since it was first held in August 2001. Mostly organized by horror movie fans, this annual event has become a great way for fans of the zombie genre to have some fun. They dress up in zombie get ups and walk along a pre-decided route. Take a look at the pictures below to see how zombie-like these living people have managed to look as well as at the fun they seem to be having.

As you can see, scars, wounds, oozing blood seems to be the norm amongst the participants. However, some have even gone so far as to show a dangling eyeball and a decapitated head. Characters from zombie movies like Resident Evil movies, 28 Day Later, Dawn of the Dead, etc. seem to be the inspiration for many participants. The fun is in walking and behaving like a Zombie, of course.

Many artists are inspired to work with the human body as their subject and material nowadays. Nothing inspires man more than man itself and more and more artists are vying to go in this direction. The art pieces seen here have intricate drawing detailed on every body. The entire range of pictures has contrasting color schemes used with intricate detailing. Some pictures have a nature inspired base within them. Natural elements like water, earth and leaves have been incorporated on the bodies. Drawing out these designs on the body takes a long time and require a great deal of patience on both the model and the artist’s part. Some of the designs even have human parts drawn on them like the eyes drawn out on the hands of the model. The drawing and details on the artwork cannot be illustrated properly unless the camera captures it in the right angle and with the right lighting. Photography plays an important part here.

Halloween is a thrill for everyone because it is the perfect opportunity to let loose and dress wild and to try some of best Tattoo Ideas. While some of the most popular costumes include witches, fairies and others, one classic favorite among many people is the zombie act with strange tattoo pics. Dressing up as a zombie gives the person a chance to experiment with ghastly images that can scare people off. Some of the pictures here are a perfect example of how ghastly a zombie act can get. The one with the baby’s hands tearing out of the pregnant woman’s stomach takes the cake in this category of photos. Remember to use lot of tomato ketchup and red paint to make your act look real. Walk down the street in one of these and you are sure to freak some people out of their wits. Doing this on a day apart from Halloween will have more of an effect that ever too.
